Brief: To take the office area of a disused aircraft hangar and turnkey solution to create office space on the 2nd floor consisting of Boardroom, Reception area, Tea point, offices and open plan desking. On the ground floor we created Training rooms, workshops, spray booth, tyre shop, stores, WC with shower rooms, canteen for the engineers to use.

The Brief was to create a representative, carefully crafted space that is consistent with the company ethos and the other premises they occupy worldwide. We designed the best functional performance of the space, with special consideration to the acoustics and clean air ventilation.

The client already onsite was issued with a short notice eviction order and needed to find premises close by to move its operation quickly and efficiently with minimum fuss to the business.

We have carefully designed the layouts to accommodate maximum number of offices, and working spaces as required. Open plan working kept the sense of spaciousness. Individual offices are located around the perimeter of the building, allowing a natural light in every room extending to the open plan areas through the glass partitions.

With difficult ceilings on both floors, we have incorporated the existing steel structure into design forming a coffer ceiling detail throughout the space and concealing extensive AC system that is individually controlled in every room.

Working with the Client’s finishes scheme we have matched the materials and proposed various samples to ensure the required look is achieved.
