Brief:

To remove the existing brickwork façade 1200sqm on the 8th and 9th floor. Remove the existing Insulation and Fire barrier layers back to SFS and rebuild back to the new specification.

This family home is a stunning property on greenbelt land, overlooking an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in Surrey.

The client had an extensive renovation of the main house carried out by Full Works Projects 3 years earlier to bring the house up to date and to take in the beautiful garden and surrounding views. It was a privilege to be invited back to build the new Pool/Gym House.

The single storey timber building with green roof had several roles to play. A family gym, Pool House, and an area to entertain when the client had family or friends to stay.

With the build over 2 levels and managing the consideration of the house foundations, our Structural Team had to design a low-level structural system that carried out both a practical and aesthetic purpose.
